Has there been an impact?
Has this journey made an impact on the tamariki in Miromiro? Are we able to use our ipads independently in reading time to enhance our learning? Can the tamariki manage themselves independently? Our inquiry has been a learning experience for everyone in Miromiro. We have learnt, adapted, up skilled and had fun along the way! We now have the skill set to work on a variety of fun, engaging and meaningful independent tasks during reading time. Tamariki are able to create animations, practice their fluency in an imovie, access their digital group reading box tasks, complete a digital reading log and more… I am so impressed in the way the tamariki have learnt new digital skills and are able to use these skills to showcase their learning. Keeping a step ahead of them can be tricky! At the beginning of the year when I started this inquiry I was unsure how it would look and also where to start.
